CERTIFIED TECHNICAL TRAINING

In 2019, SMI received the important recognition from the training body CEPAS, a company of the Bureau Veritas group.

The CEPAS Certificate for the Maintenance of Escalators and Moving Walkways Training Course (No.202 of the Register of Qualified Courses in accordance with the CEPAS scheme (ref. PG01 current rev). objectively attests to the quality of content shared within the Training Course and the absolute professionalism in the design and delivery of the content.

THE SMI TRAINING: HANDS-ON AND PRACTICAL THEORY

Located just 30 kilometers from Malpensa and the city of Milan, the Impianto Sicuro Training Centre is a state-of-the-art and unique technical facility in Europe.
Under the expert guidance of technical trainers, maintenance professionals receive technical training on the proper maintenance of escalators and moving walkways that explain the reasons and benefits for customer safety, equipment lifetime and the well-being of the maintenance professionals .

The SMI technical training course alternates theory and practice with exercises on the fully functioning escalator that is installed in the 1.000 m2 training center.

Upon completion of the training, the Attendance Certificate, copy of the teaching materials and the necessary documentation are issued for a proper state-of-the-art census and useful for the identification of original or compatible parts SMI can provide support for.

The CEPAS Certificate is also available upon request.
